My Stories

If you haven't figured out by now, I have a thing with writing. (Huh, with the writing, blog, and author brand, who would've guessed?) After a while, you realize that if you're gonna call yourself a writer, and create a website about writing, and the art of crafting stories... well, you've gotta take the leap, jump, whatever, and start writing yourself.

I can't pretend that there aren't times (read: about a hundred times per day where I decide what I'm brainstorming and/or writing is complete trash and now I need to rethink the entire plot) when I don't think I'm the best writer. (Or, for that matter, really even a good writer.)

But the thing about writing? (Heck, any skill.) It takes practice. And patience. And also, actually doing the skill.

So here are the projects I work on. Sure, they might not be the best. But they're still progress, in my humble opinion, because, at the end of the day, I'm writing, and (slowly but surely) I'm improving.

The Saga of the Stars

For centuries, the Àlkalri—"special ones" or "born of the Stars"—have ruled, and humankind has served. But as the tables turn, and rebellion burns, a darker evil stirs. Together, they must fight, for a house divided cannot stand.
